Starbucks is a very well known, if not the most well known coffee chain in the world. We all go there for the frothy sugary goodness with lots of whipped cream, colorful syrop and possibly even marshmallows on top. Their whole THING is making crazy sweet drinks with some coffee in them. That’s what Starbucks is known for. And then love creating new coffee concoctions every year, especially in time for holiday season. So let’s take a look at some of the best Starbucks holiday specials around the world.
1. Christmas Tree Peppermint Dark Mocha, Australia
This is how Australian Starbucks spreads the Christmas cheer. They make a dark peppermint mocha and decorate it with green whipped cream and colorful sprinkles. It kinda does look a bit like a Christmas tree, doesn’t it?
2. Snowy Cheese Flavored Latte, China
It sounds super weird, but what they mean by cheese is probably cheesecake? At least that’s what we’re hoping for. And of course it wouldn’t be a Starbucks holiday special if it wasn’t topped with lots of whipped cream, crunchy stars and special blueberry flavored sprinkles.
3. Praline Mocha, Indonesia
This is almost a holiday classic in Starbucks. They’ve actually introduced it in many countries, but it really stuck in Indonesia. It’s rich sweet flavor is exactly the treat most crave around Christmas.
4. Christmas Strawberry Cake Frappuccino, Japan
The moment you start seeing this drink in Japanese Starbucks you know that holiday season has officially started and Christmas is just around the corner. This drink is popular as a Frappuccino but is even more popular as simply a milk drink, no coffee required. It’s made up of steamed milk, strawberry compote, white mocha syrup, strawberry syrup, lots of whipped cream and biscuit on top.
