Travelling can be a lot of fun, but if you do it the conventional way it can become quite repetitive and predictable. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with going to a beach vacation in the summer or doing a tour around Europe, both are very worthwhile ways of spending ones free time. However, if you’re a bit over this kind of travel, if all the European cities are starting to look the same to you and you’re sick of beach resorts and all inclusive hotels – here are some thrilling destinations for real adventurers and legend seekers.
The Legend of Camelot – Winchester Castle
If you’re not familiar with the legend of Camelot I suggest you start googling now. You’ve got a lot of catching up to do. The short version is Camelot is a mythical castle city located somewhere in Britain and it’s a place where King Arthur held court. If you want a longer and way more exciting story perhaps give the TV series Camelot a shot. And if you want to something close to that in real life – Winchester Castle in Hampshire, England is your best bet.
The Roof of Africa – Kilimanjaro
Have you watch Kilimanjaro: The Roof Of Africa? If not, I suggest you do it. Kilimanjaro is the tallest freestanding mountain in the world and climbing it is no easy feat. The movie follows six climbers who chose to scale Mount Kilimanjaro and experience all five of its climates. And if you’re a true thrill seeker at heart, it’ll make you want to take on that challenge too.
